ARMA PEI Chapter is hosting a half-day education seminar on Thursday, May 8th, from 9am to 12:30pm, at St. Peter's Cathedral Hall in Charlottetown. Big Data and Open Data are two concepts that are inextricably tied to daily life in the early 21st century, from the way we purchase goods to how we access information online. Join us on May 8th as Mark Leggott, University Librarian at UPEI, and Paul Lewis, CTO at Hitachi Data Systems, speak on the massive potential and implications of big and open data. Find out how these concepts impact you and your organization, and how to reconcile information security needs with the juggernaut of big and open data. Please distribute this flyer to your friends and colleagues; anyone you think might be interested in this topic. It's one that affects us on a daily basis and in which we all have a stake. Spread the word!
